Family Promise Program Visited Sha’arey

On Friday night, December 6th, the director of the Family Promise program, presented Temple Sha’arey Shalom with a book of drawings that represent healing after the Tree of Life Massacre.

Family Promise, headed in the synagogue by Beverly Lerner and Susan Berowitz-Kolmodin, is a program where our families can cook special meals and eat with the homeless in our midst. It is a national program.

The Mason family, whose children participated in the creation of the book of life were welcomed at services as well.

The book can be viewed in the office. If you wish to learn how you can participate, please reach out to Sandy in our office who will connect you with Bev Lerner.
